Bentwood Place, a major midwestern Peruvian horse breeding ranch was founded in 1980
by Dr. Gail Benson, an orthopedic surgeon.

The Ranch has specialized in Southern Peruvian bloodlines famous for elegance, arrogance,
gait and beauty.  A herd of over 50 makes this one of the Midwest's largest Peruvian herds.
