Hacienda Sosegado, owned by D. Joy Gould, is a 15 acre ranch facility located in Hemet, California.  We have specialized in breeding, raising, showing, and selling top quality Peruvian horses since 1986.  Our goal is to produce strong, sound, well-gaited horses with great temperaments.

We are a full service training center, specializing in the Peruvian horse.  We are able to accommodate all breeds of horses for training and welcome new additions to the stable.

Our resident trainer, Ebert Garayar, has been involved with the Peruvian horse for nearly all of his life beginning in Peru and working here in the United States for more than 30 years.  He offers professional services and can assist with consultations and evaluations, riding lessons both individual and group, and training for your horse.

Ebert is well known throughout the United States, Peru and other South American countries that have significant number of Peruvian horses.  He is well respected by both breeders and trainers across the country.
