~Stallions & Colts~

MLM Pichon
(*ERM Genoves by JRM Golondrina)
DOB: January, 2004

Pichon is in the bit and did very nicely at the 2009 SCPPHC Spring Classic, taking 2nd Place in Stallions 4- 6 Breeding. We see this as a good indicator that he will be in the top ribbons as he matures and continues his training. He was purchased from Rocking M Ranch when he was just a yearling and we hope they will be proud of how he is coming along.  Pichon is being readied for his owner to show for 2012. I hear he is lots of fun.
 

 

DJG PARRANDERO
(RDL Incomparable X RSV Finura)
 DOB:  April, 2009

Parrandero is an exceptional young colt.  We liked him immediately when he was born and then when he turned two we could see why.  Besides having a nice, natural way of traveling, he also has a great disposition.  We liked him so much we have taken him to the shows for halter.  For the 2011 show season he has surprised us. He has taken 4 First Place Ribbons and achieved 4 Reserve Champion Junior Colt titles.  We are looking forward to his starting in the saddle next year.

 


 

~GELDINGS~


MLM Romeo

(RSV Inolvidable+ X MLM Garza Real)

           DOB: February, 2005

Romeo arrived at the ranch in November 2008. He has a lot of his sire’s characteristics and we thought that he would add a lot to our barn. In 2009, he achieved Best Bozal Horse of Show at both the SCPPHC Spring Classic and Fiesta of the Spanish Horse Shows. He was also the 2009 First Place Bozal Gelding for the SCPPHC Annual Awards. 

Romeo has continued to be a winner in 2011!  This show season he has received 9 First Place ribbons; 6 Champion Luxury Gelding titles and was Champion of Champion Luxury Gelding twice.  Way to go Romeo!

 

         HMS AQUILES
(*JOR Capital by HMS Gabriela)
        DOB: March, 2005

I purchased Aquiles for my next performance horse.  He is quite handsome and has a very natural and loose movement.  For me that high headset looks very elegant.  Performance classes are new to Aquiles but he has taken this challenge very seriously.  For the 2011 show season he has taken 5 First Place ribbons; 4 Champion Performance Gelding titles and was Champion of Champion Performance Gelding  3 times.  What a great beginning for him!

 

 

 

RVV Insurecion
(RSV Inolvidable+  X  RSV Ascencion)
DOB: March, 2000 

“Rex” is the all around horse.  He does everything asked of him and is a great and willing partner.  He has achieved Champion of Champion Performance Gelding and Champion Amateur Performance Gelding.  Rex was in the 2009 Rose Parade, and was ridden by Jorge Valenzuela.  Rex is now used as an ambassador for the breed and is taken to Open Shows and demonstrations. 
 

 

 


MLM Conquistador
( *ERM Genoves X JRM Mercenaria)
DOB: January, 2000

Since 2005, Conquistador has won the title of Champion of Champions Luxury Gelding 11 times.  He won his third title of Champion of Champions Luxury Gelding at the 2008 SCPPHC Spring Classic Championship Show giving him his first Laureado title. He was also the 2005 U.S. National Champion Performance Gelding.

He is big, bold, well conformed and has a fabulous way of going. As you can see Conquistador has been doing it all and we have had great fun with him in the ring.  Now he helps us with the training of all the young horses coming up.  Conquistador does this job with great pride and seriousness.  We appreciate his work ethic. 
 

 

~MARES~
 

DJG Lusitana
(RDL Incomparable by DJG Briada)
DOB: May, 2006

Lusitana is shown here in halter. She is under saddle and is being readied for a show career in performance with her owner. Lusitana is the first offspring of RDL Incomparable to begin a show career. She has quite a few brothers and sisters who will be following her.  We liked this breeding so much that we have a full sister that may be even more promising than Lusitana.

 

DJG BAILARINA
(RDL Incomparable X  MLM Laura)
DOB: May, 2008

When Bailarina was born we knew that she was something special.  We have worked her in halter, not so much because we want her to be a halter horse, but always for the show ring experience prior to the saddle work.

Her record during the 2010 show season was: four times Champion Junior Mare and four times Reserve Champion Junior Mare.  Although started under saddle, we continued into 2011 with Bailarina in halter.  Her record for 2011 is 6 First Place ribbons and 6 Champion Junior Mare titles.

Next year, in 2012, we will see her in the saddle.  We believe that she will continue to amaze us.

 

RSV Finura
 (Zar TB X RDS Orquidia Negra)
DOB:  April, 1994
 

RSV Finura is a half sister to U. S National Laureado breeding stallion RSV Inolvidable+.  Finura is one of the smoothest riding horses to be found with a lot of power. Just ask her and she’ll give you a tremendous ride in the show ring or the most comfortable ride on the trail.  She has achieved the title of Champion of Champions Breeding Mare. She is now retired from the arena and is providing for us some very nice offspring that will be starting in the arena in 2011.

 

 

 

 


RSV La Pisquera
(El Pisquero by *HNS Domingo X Sahara MSR)
DOB:  January, 1992

RSV La Pisquera is a U.S. National Champion of Champions Performance Mare. She along with RSV Finura have been their owner’s personal riding horses for the show arena and for trail.  This mare in her younger years could not be beaten in Zootechnico and up to age 14 she was still winning Mares Zootechnico classes.  Pisquera has retired to concentrate on providing us with more outstanding foals.
