Dear Members, Mother Nature and the
calendar seem to be out of sync again. It’s not really Winter, but some areas of
Texas near me have already had snow. Will it happen for Christmas? My term as
President ends this year. I wish to thank all the board members for their
assistance, and the volunteers who have made club events successful. It is
imperative that others now step forward to run for our board to keep the club
strong and growing. If you personally would like to serve, or want to nominate
another individual, please send that in-formation to Treasurer, Dick Sisson.
Bal-lots will be sent out in early 2008. We can pack away show gear for an-other
year and enjoy some relaxing trail riding. Before you know it, however, shows
will start again. Our “SpringRoundup” is one of the first. The hard work of the
show committee will be evident when you see the great venue, participate in
classes (including some new ones) and enjoy the food. A new event, the “Wrap Up
Dinner” will convince you to stay over Sunday night, Best wishes for Happy
