About Sunrise Ranch

We purchased our first Peruvian horse over 20 years ago. Our daughter Melanie inherited our passion for Peruvians and has been riding them all her life. We began a breeding program based on the direct descendants of the national foundation sire of Peru, Sol de Oro (V). Now five generations later, our breeding program exemplifies the Peruvian horse; strength, gait, brio and beauty. All of our horses have excellent temperament and a willingness to please.

Melanie is now the ranch manager. With a lifetime of Peruvian horses in her background, she is extremely knowledgeable about blood lines and the qualities that make an outstanding Peruvian horse. Our herd now numbers 40 horses of all ages and levels of training. Whether you are looking for geldings, stallions, or mares; trail horses or show horses, we can provide you with a horse you will fall in love with and be proud of.
